Equity is also still campaigning for better support for freelancers, especially those who fall through the cracks currently eligible for any Government support. Email the helpline on helpline@equity.org.uk I'd recommend getting in touch with them even if you're not a member and consider joining.
For students and recent graduates, membership is half price. More information HERE.

Let’s Get Techie - (Including Online Accessibility)
Google Meet is now free for anyone! It is a reliable alternative to Zoom, depending on what your needs are.
I highly recommend checking out the BIG HACK below. They are dedicated to making the online world better for everyone. There are some fantastic tips, guidance and recommendations for making anything that we share online more user friendly for all of us. It includes design tips for websites, which a lot of us make ourselves now and web accessibility in general. It’s somewhere I’ll be using to help me make this site more accessible.
The link to the MacPaw website below is specifically for MAC computer users. I can’t recommend this app enough! I accidentally downloaded malware watching a dance documentary online. After paying out for a human to fix it, who didn’t entirely remove the malware thoroughly, I bought this app & it worked amazingly. It keeps my laptop clean & bug-free, so it runs much quicker. I think it’s an excellent investment. I’d highly recommend it.
The Skills Toolkit is a list of free online courses. It might not be what you need right now. We are all busier than ever in lots of ways, so it might be something to come back to in the future.
