Workshop Description

Join Kay Crook, Chhaya Collective, for a sweaty, energetic & empowering workshop of collaborative movement exploration, technical training, floor drills, choreography & repertoire from Chhaya's current touring production KHAOS.

“Not neat, nor calm, nor perfect, but vibrant, chaotic & powerful – we are wild 21st century women”. KHAOS celebrates what it is to be woman, drawing on ancient stories & oppressive archetypes, rejecting order in favour of complexity & chaos.

The workshop will draw on core themes of the work & feed choreographic explorations, movement generation & creative discussions. Open to all those ready to unleash their inner wild & expressive selves, of any gender.

Chhaya Collective are a contemporary dance company, set up between UK & India since 2014, invested in developing sustainable relationships between artists in UK & globally, through cross-cultural, collaborative & interdisciplinary projects.
